From here, you’ll head inland toward Kitulgala, a town known as Sri Lanka’s adventure hub. The drive passes through Avissawella, a region surrounded by lush rubber and tea plantations. Kelani Valley Landscape
As you approach Kitulgala, you’ll encounter the Kelani Valley, a scenic area with mountain views and riverside villages. The valley’s serene rivers and traditional settlements create a peaceful, photogenic setting ideal for nature lovers.
Seethawaka Wet Zone Botanical Garden

Hatton & Tea Plantation Valleys
Your journey takes you through Hatton and the surrounding tea plantation valleys, a quintessential Sri Lankan highland experience. Rolling hills covered with lush green tea bushes stretch as far as the eye can see, dotted with small villages and colonial-era tea factories. St. Clair’s & Devon Waterfalls
