Day 1 - Arrive in Kandy & Sightseeing

Our airport representative will meet you at the arrival terminal to welcome you to the tour. We provide you with a knowledgeable, friendly, multilingual guide and transportation in excellent-condition, luxurious, and comfortable air-conditioned vehicles. (Drivers are available on request in any language.) Kandy, the provincial capital of the Central Province, is where your journey starts. The city is ideally located between three mountain ranges and offers a warm welcome to Sri Lanka's hill country. Visit Kandy's famous Royal Palace in the afternoon after checking into your luxury accommodation. The palace is located on the edge of Lake Kandy. Explore the gardens, shrines, and temples within the palace before seeing Sri Dalada Maligawa, the temple housing the Sacred Tooth Relic, which is considered its crown jewel. A tooth from the Buddha is housed in the elaborate temple complex, which was built in the sixteenth century and is the most significant Buddhist relic in Sri Lanka.

Day 2 - Enjoy the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya

On the second day, you spend it discovering more of Kandy and its environs. Visit a traditional village on the outskirts of the city first thing in the morning. These groups are highly recognised for producing authentic Sri Lankan drums. While there, you will assist the locals in gathering wood from nearby trees and animal hides, then take part in the age-old custom of making musical instruments. Explore the Royal Botanical Gardens, which are located in Peradeniya, not far from Kandy, for the remainder of the day. The magnificent grounds, which were formerly only open to Kandyan aristocracy, greet guests with a towering avenue of palm trees. Highlights include the tall Burmese bamboo, amazing cannonball fruit trees, and aromatic spice garden.

Day 3 - Learn About Tea Production in Nuwara Eliya

You are going to travel to the middle of the tea country today. You will reach Nuwara Eliya after a wonderful train ride through lush slopes and lush tea plantations. Situated high above sea level, this enchanting highland town enjoys the unique climate of Sri Lanka. It is a sanctuary for growing exquisite flowers and teas with complex flavours, thanks to its misty altitudes and mild temperatures. Settled by the British and sometimes called "Little England," Nuwara Eliya, however, has an old feel to it. Besides being famous for horse racing, the town has an outstanding golf club, founded in 1889. After a day exploring the city's parks, temples, museums, and tea estates, spend the evening relaxing in the hills at your comfortable hotel.

Day 4 - Explore Horton Plains National Park & Negombo

On the fourth day, travel south to the well-known Horton Plains National Park. This immaculate natural reserve is full of grasslands, woodlands, and rolling hills. A wide variety of plants and animals can be found there. Rare and endangered highland birds soar through the park's woodlands, while elk, deer, wild boar, porcupines, and leopards prowl its high plateaus. Hiking to "World's End," a steep cliff with breath-taking views of the far southern coastline, is the most popular walk in the area. Once your hiking days are over, make your way to Negombo, a laid-back beach town on the west coast. The city's fascinating past is hinted at by its meandering canals and colonial buildings. Nicknamed "Little Rome" due to its significant Catholic influence, Negombo saw colonial domination by the Dutch, Portuguese, and British throughout the ages. The vibrant streets, friendly residents, and sandy beaches of today make it the ideal place to spend your final night in Sri Lanka.

Day 5 - Depart Negombo

Say ayubowan (farewell) to Sri Lanka this morning. You'll transfer to the nearby airport for your departing flight. Safe journey!
